What to Expect

It’s never easy to visit a church for the first time, so we do everything we can to make that experience a good one.

Arrival

If it’s your first time, we recommend arriving 10-15 minutes early. That will give you enough time to park, grab some complimentary fresh brewed coffee and donuts, and find a seat before the service begins. We kick off our services promptly at 10:30 AM so that we can get you out on time.

(If you have children, we recommend arriving 15-20 minutes early in order to check-in your child and see where they’ll be cared for while you’re in service.)

Service Times & Duration

We offer a contemporary service at 10:30 AM that usually lasts about an hour and five minutes, we cram a lot into that 65 minutes!

Dress

Hope Church welcomes everyone just as they are. Some people dress up and others dress very casually. We encourage you to come the way that you feel most comfortable.

During the Service

There are a few things you can always expect:

  • We always have music that is upbeat, fun, and contemporary, but sometimes we mix in some traditional songs. Don’t worry you don’t have to sing, but if you want to we provide lyrics so you can follow along. This portion of the service lasts about 20 minutes.

  • The messages are always relevant, straight-forward, and applicable to life today. Whether you’re a Christ-follower or not, we guarantee that you’ll walk away with some helpful information. We also provide a space for you to take notes in case there’s something you want to remember.

  • As part of our weekly services we do take up an offering. If you are a guest, please do not feel any pressure or obligation to give. This is an act of worship for our regular attendees, allowing them to thank God for all of the great work He is doing in their lives and to give back to help continue the work of the church.

HopeKids

If you have children, they’ll LOVE our kids’ environments! We’ve put a lot of energy into making church fun, entertaining, and educational for kids of all ages – from newborn through 5th grade. They have their own music, games, skits, object lessons, and even small groups that happen all while you’re off enjoying “big church” as they call it. One of our core values is to invest the best in the next generation, so we care deeply about our kids’ environments.

We understand how precious your children are and we take great care to make sure that they are safe at all times. When you drop off and pick up your kids there is a check-in & out process to make sure every kid gets home safely. Also, every environment is supervised by several qualified volunteers who have submitted to background checks and been cleared by our staff.

After The Service

As a guest, you will be encouraged to fill out a Connection Card and bring it to the Guest Relations Table located on your way out. This helps us to stay in communication with you and let you know about all of the exciting things happening at Hope Church throughout the year.

If you don’t wish to be contacted, you can simply indicate that on the card. All of our guests will receive a free gift as our way of saying, “thanks for coming!”
